Tell us about your latest book. What inspired it? Is this a series and if so, how many books are you planning? If not, do you plan to have any spin-off’s from secondary characters inthe future?
This is my latest release. It came out on September 29th with Hearts On Fire Books. This is the 3rd book in the Sweet Series which focuses on Navy SEALS and their life after retiring. All of these books fall under the erotic romance genre, but they all contain a subplot of suspense in one form or another.
If you could ask readers in your genre one question, what would it be and why?
I guess I would try to keep and simple and ask what are they looking for right now. Tastes change and so many things in erotic romance have been done to death. It would be nice to hear what the readers are waiting to see.
What do you think is most important in the relationship between the main characters?
Hmm, I guess I would have to say intensity. You can have attraction, desire or passion, but the level of intensity that the story is told in is what essentially will draw the reader in and keep them turning those pages.
How long does it take for you to create, write and submit to your editor a finished book?
LOL. That is not an easily answered question. I have some I have been able to speed through with no snags at a record pace and others that have taken me a few months to complete. I guess it depends on the book itself, how easily the words are flowing and how much research is needed.
If one of your books was made into a movie, who do you think would capture your characters perfectly?
LOL. Another interesting question. My first book Sweet Redemption is being formatted into a screenplay layout as we speak. It will be pitched by a very talented screen writer and author, Mike Riles to various agents. Who would play the characters? Hmm, I think the Hero, Jack Peyton would probably be played by Ryan Reynolds. The heroine, Tamara would probably be best portrayed by someone like Brooke Burns.
Anything in the pipeline for 2009? Can we get a sneak look into upcoming projects?
I have a new release coming out in November with Siren Bookstrand. Intimate Persuasions is the title and it is also an erotic romance. I have two other works in progress at the moment. One is a M/M erotic romance and the other is an idea I’m working on to branch out in the military so to speak. I wanted to try to write about some Army RANGERS as opposed to Navy SEALS, and see where their stories take me.
For fun: If you could meet any character you want, who would it be & what would you do?
Hmm…any character? It would have to be Rex from book 2 of the Sweet Series, Sweet Salvation. He was yummy to the 10th power. As far as what I’d like to do, I’m an erotic romance writer, use your imagination! 
Any phobias we should know about?
I wouldn’t call it a phobia per say, but I’m always trying to watch how I word things in emails, texts, etc. So many times the written words can be mistaken in another tone. And all too often I have seen people write things and send them without even thinking of the ramifications of what they’re saying may be.
Are you a morning person or do you really hate those infernal cheery people who wake up happy? *grins*
I’m neither actually. I’m not cranky in the morning, just need some java to get me going. Happy people just make it easier to get there.

Adam stared up at her. Any desire he thought he saw in her moments ago came nowhere near what he saw now. The way she had just whispered his name and pleaded with him made the blood flow all the faster as he thought of nothing more than sinking inside of her.

How had she gone from knocking on his door to check on him after hearing a scream to standing before him in a t-shirt and panties? She breathed deep and heavy as he studied her and slowly undid the snap to his jeans. She thought he was going to take her right there up against the door when he grabbed her hand and led her to the back of his house.
She went with him silently, wanting to stop herself, knowing this was not her, not who she was, but she couldn?t seem to help herself. The heat from his hand alone was driving her crazy. When they got to the bedroom she wasn’t surprised when he threw her down on the bed and covered her with his large body.
His savage and rough behavior seemed to dictate such roughness. He brought his mouth down to hers again, only this time he nibbled on her bottom lip, treating it as though it was a small treat. The sensation of his teeth gently nipping at her was something she hadn?t experienced before.
She wasn’t sure if she liked it or not and almost pulled away from the unusual feeling when she felt his large hands spread her thighs apart. She moaned at the forcefulness in which he did it. How could she like it so rough and fast? She should stop him, put an end to this craziness, but just as the idea entered her mind she felt his denim covered hardness rub against her already enflamed sex.
His rocking against her body was causing the wetness in her panties to spread. She was sure he could feel it. Despite the fact that he was wearing jeans she felt soaked with need for him. The thought that he could feel that and know what she wanted embarrassed her.
She was shocked when he abruptly got off of her and walked towards his closet. She couldn’t see what he was doing at first. He seemed to just be standing there looking at the door. Suddenly he slammed it and turned towards her. She saw something then. His eyes had changed, if only a little.

Seeing some of these covers is like seeing old friends again. Tony Sweeney used that picture from Sweet Vengeance when she did the trailer for my paranormal romance The Irish Lady’s Spanish Lover. It’s certainly a provocative one, isn’t it?
