Can you tell us a little about how you started writing; was it something you have always wanted to do?
Hi Raine! Thanks for having me. I credit my fifth grade student teacher Mr. Hilliard for ‘unlocking’ my imagination and introducing me to the concept of Creative Writing. I also credit my ninth grade teacher Mrs. Yost for encouraging me further. But it wasn’t until college that I decided to pursue it seriously. I received some good feedback and started sending out query letters.
Who or what has been your biggest influence as a writer?
LIFE. The majority of my stories are ‘what if’ situations. I am also a voracious reader of many genres, and am inspired by other authors’ work.
Your work is very popular with readers and reviewers; how does it feel to have such positive recognition for your work?
I love to hear from anyone who has read my work and enjoyed it! As a first-time author, the fact that people who don’t know me personally have read my ‘e-baby’ and enjoyed it is a wonderful validation. Proof that I can write something worth reading, ha ha!
What do you consider to be the key elements of a great story?
Conflict and resolution. Likeable, relatable characters
Could you tell us a little about how you develop your characters? Who has been your favorite character to write? The most challenging?
I honestly don’t know how I do it. I just sit down and begin writing, and the characters tell me who they are and what’s going on. The most challenging, so far, has been Steve, in my wip Wild at Heart. He’s just been released from prison and is rather bitter about the initial reaction from his hometown. But everyone who has read the first chapter tells me they don’t like him. I keep trying to make him more likable, but he yells at me to put certain elements back in! One of these days he and I will reach a compromise and people will be able to finally read about his ultimate redemption.
My favorite characters are my girls from my alter-ego’s series, The Arbor University Tales. They are loosely based on various college experiences, and the storylines are timeless.
Please tell us about the projects you are currently working on; what can readers expect to see in the coming months?
Currently, my first full-length erotic romance, Teacher’s Pet, has been submitted and is awaiting approval. I’m also hard at work on Wild at Heart and another storyline which came to me, fully formed, a few weeks ago. I’d like to have another release by the end of this year, but we’ll see what happens.
Hollywood came calling and asked for one of your books to be made into a movie. Which one would you choose and who do you see playing your characters?
I can see Brad Pitt playing Kevin in Teacher’s Pet, and Kate Hudson as Tammy.
Summertime…sun, heat and tans. What is your favorite Summer time treat to snack on?
Ice cream. My kids love to stop at our favorite café either after a dip in the pool or between dinner and bedtime.
Where can readers find more about you and your books?
My website, www.mollydaniels.com is currently under construction, but both of my blogs http://kenziemichaels.blogspot.com and www.mjdaniels.blogspot.com are updated either daily (Molly’s) or weekly (Kenzie’s).
For fun: You are able to meet one character from any book, who would it be and what would you do?
My character Austin Harmon, who is the main character in an upcoming anthology. Austin is young, handsome, and owns a private resort which he uses in various philanthropic ways. We’d have a drink and talk about backing one of my pet projects.
Thank you Raine; this has been fun!

Blurb:
When Amber Johnson agrees to fill in as a last-minute chef of a dinner party, she is surprised to learn the client is none other than her ex-boyfriend, Marc Denton. The kitchen sizzles with their unfinished business; will the flames of love reignite, or will Marc’s scheming father succeed in keeping them apart?
Marc and Amber are furious when they discover lies that have kept them apart for three years. With Amber by his side again, will Marc find the courage to stand up to his father and hold on to his true love?
Excerpt:
“Shhh….” She bent down to kiss him. “Morning.”
“Morning,” he yawned. “What the hell….” He tugged his left hand.
She intercepted his right hand as he reached for her breast and bound it to the end of the blue belt. “I’m holding you hostage for a few moments. Is it okay?”
Marc grinned warily, shifting onto his back. “What are you doing?”
Amber pushed the blankets aside and straddled him. “Just relax.” She kissed him lightly, the tips of her breasts grazing his chest. She nipped at his jaw line and rubbed her cheek against his morning stubble. “You always have that dark and dangerous look in the morning.”
“That’s me; dark and dangerous,” he echoed. “Is that why you tied me up?”
“Every time you touch me, I melt,” she complained good-naturedly. “So, I made sure you couldn’t touch me until I had my way with you.”
“You begged me to touch you last night,” he reminded her, groaning when she sucked lightly on his neck. “Am…, no hickies….”
“Don’t worry. I won’t leave any marks.” She moved lower, scraping her teeth over his flat nipples, hearing him gasp. “Like that?”
Marc closed his eyes. She was the only one who had ever loved his whole body. The women he’d had in the past three years, besides his ex-wife, were only interested in his hard cock.
Amber felt his member swelling against her inner thigh and smiled to herself. But this was her show; she wasn’t going to let him rush her. She moved to his other nipple, giving it the same attention as the first. Her hands passed lovingly over his ribs, stroking the light fur tapering off from his naval to his groin area.
Marc flexed his arms as she repositioned her body lower. “Am…, my arms are going numb.”
“Just keep doing finger flicks,” she instructed, and licked her way to the base of his swollen cock, beads of pre-cum bubbling to its surface. She gave it a perfunctory kiss, dipping her finger into the moisture and tasting him. “Hmmm,” she said playfully. “Someone had chicken, rice, and whiskey last night.”
“Very funny,” he said testily. “You fed me. Now hurry up!”
“Naughty, naughty,” she scolded, sliding a finger between his balls and watching his cock twitch. “Impatient, are we?”
“I didn’t inflict this much torture on you last night,” he panted. “I believe you said ‘Fuck me’? So put your mouth on me.”
“Say ‘please’.”
Marc swore under his breath. “Please.”
She turned her head and licked his inner thigh from groin to knee.
“Amber!” he bellowed.

Hi Kenzie/Molly,
Thanks for coming by and being my guest author today.
I really love this excerpt Molly. Can you tellm e how many books are in the series?
Is there a genre you haven’t done yet but want to in the future?
Thanks for coming.
Raine D.

Love the excerpt and interview! “Teacher’s Pet” sounds very intriguing and yes…will need to be turned into a movie!
Sorry about the late check-in! I’m out of town and this is the first chance I’ve had to be on the computer since this morning.
Raine, All She Ever Wanted is a stand alone book; no series. However, there are 14 planned books in Molly’s Arbor University series. The first two are self-pubbed and available on amazon or through any bookstore. The next five are ready to go; I just need a publisher willing to take them on, as they fit the women’s fiction genre.
As for tackling future genres…I have two WIPs who are venturing into paranormal. I’m not sure if that’s going to work for me or not; everything depends on how well the story flows and how difficult any technical ‘jargon’ gets.
YAY on the interview. It was so interesting and I love the excerpt.HAWT!
