Tell us about your latest book. What inspired it? Is this a series and if so, how many books are you planning? If not, do you plan to have any spin-off’s from secondary characters in the future?
My latest book called Calling Dr. Love was inspired while I was on a trip to West Hollywood. I was involved in the WeHo bookfair at a book signing. Every bar on Sunset strip had a go-go boy dancing in the window. I couldn’t resist.
So, far it’s a solo book , though it is part of my short story anthology, In The Dark & What Should Never Be, coming soon.
Summertime fun is here……..what is your favorite way to celebrate summer and plan on going on vacation?
I’ll be writing most of the summer. I’m afraid there isn’t a summer vacation on this end. Mostly enjoying the evenings, but working every day on the writing.
If you could ask readers in your genre one question, what would it be and why?
I don’t know what I’d ask them! LOL. I think I’d just thank them for being so loyal and for all the great feedback they have given me over the years.
What do you think is most important in the relationship between the main characters?
Love. Devoted, head over heels love. Even though some of my characters take the long way around to find their man, they end up with the kind of partnership one can only dream of.
How long does it take for you to create, write and submit to your editor a finished book?
On a good whirlwind, a month. But rewrites of old material take much longer.
If one of your books was made into a movie, who do you think would capture your characters perfectly?
Ironically I have a few in mind for several books. I can only find Mark Richfield in advertising for gorgeous models. No man in Hollywood even resembles that beauty. But Jack Larsen? Aaron Eckhart. My Lord, that’s Jack. And if anyone read my Vampire and the Man-Eater book, just check out the reruns of the vampire show, Moonlight. Alex O’loughlin is Daniel, and Jason Dohring is Brock. Perfection.
Anything in the pipeline for 2009? Can we get a sneak look into upcoming projects?
I have nine new hot M/M erotic books coming out this year and early 2010 with different publishers,(including two non-erotic straight novels under the pen name Amanda Winters) and my next GA Hauser Collection release will be a gay erotic fairy tale. Prince of Servitude, out mid-July. (www.authorgahauser.com has all my coming attractions)
For fun: If you could meet any character you want, who would it be & what would you do?
The one, the only, Mark Antonious Richfield. All I want to do is stare at him, naked
Any phobias we should know about?
Horrible publishers! (Ha Ha) Joking. (Not)
Are you a morning person or do you really hate those infernal cheery people who wake up happy? *grins*
Morning person, but not necessarily giggling happy. I get up at 6am to run 3 miles, and am wiped out after a long day of writing, in bed reading by 10.zzzzzzzzzzz

Blurb for CALLING DR. LOVE
Pride and ego make a very unlikely combination for finding true love. Unless you discover another who is your mirror image.
Twenty-five year old Phil Andrews left his family in Eastern Washington to escape the small town attitudes of his siblings and the locals to be free to be himself in the liberal area of West Hollywood. But without an education or work experience to fall back on, Phil uses his good looks and physique to make ends meet, working as a go-go boy at night, and a gay porn star on the weekends.
Intelligent, out of the closet, Dr. Christopher Love was thirty-three years old and a success in everything but his relationships. He knew his life was lacking something, a partner to share it with. Trying to find the kind of man he found attractive sexually and one who was also was willing to bend to his demands was an impossible task. Until he met Phil Andrews.
Two men, two opposite worlds. One educated at the finest schools, an asset to the community, a philanthropist and a surgeon, the other, a high-school drop-out, former drug addict with a criminal record, meet during a stormy night while the lights are blacked out. The physical attraction bonds them instantly, but soon their differences bring to the surface that deadly pride.

Hi G. A., Thanks for coming by my blog. Love the covers. Who designed them?
Raine D.
Thank you so much for the chance to be the spotlight author. Stephanie Vaughan did both covers. She’s another M/M author, and has many talents! Again to everyone who enjoys my work, a big thank you. GA
