So I keep telling people, “I have to write a blog”, then I go off and Facebook or e-mail or even write on the next book (which is off to the pre-reader now). So I ask myself why it is so hard to write a blog. Well, because it is really hard to know what people want to read about? Do they want to read about me, the person? Or about the books I have out and the new ones coming out? Or about something more random, like love or the paranormal genre or something I have to do research on? So now I am sitting here, writing a blog on how hard it is to really write a blog. And I think I have to touch on all of the above. LOL.
My name is Brigit Aine. I live in Sacramento, CA and my first book was published in May. The next one in the series comes out in September and I am hoping book 3 can come out in November or December. I have two boys (9 and 15) and a great husband. We have recently started looking to move and are getting ready for new schools. So it has been a long summer but enjoyable and full of fun things. My cat, Lola, and dog, Neo, are not liking the moving boxes but I keep telling them we are taking them with us. Stop by Brigit’s World or Brigit’s World Blog and say hi. All my current and future projects are updated in both spots.
So now on to the books. “Red’s Wolf” came out with Absolute XPress in May. “Cassie’s Awakening” is coming September 1st and “Kraig’s Kat” is currently with the pre-reader and will be off to the publisher soon. I am hoping for an end of the year release date. They are all part of my series Torrent’s Talents. The series started as a play on “Little Red Riding Hood” which is where “Red’s Wolf” comes from. There are werewolves, cat-shifters (coming in book 4) and others. All of the people who live in Torrent have some sort of talent. In “Red’s Wolf” Red puts the emotion she feels into the food she bakes (and it makes for some interesting moments), in “Cassie’s Awakening” Cassie dampens strong emotions in others (so she hasn’t ever felt true passion until now) and in “Kraig’s Kat” Kat is a psychic with a power hungry father that has her on the run. Their mates are all werewolves, of the yummy sort. You can get “Red’s Wolf” now at Absolute XPress or in print at Amazon.com. I am also writing a story for an anthology that is a paranormal historical with a twist, La Casa di Segreti. Stop by YouTube and check out the video trailer for it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6QSo5ZkKTQ.
So onto love, romance and the paranormal. LOL. I only write what I read so I don’t know if that makes me strange or just paranormal in my own right. I love vampires and werewolves and witches and all things that are a little bit different from what we have in everyday life. Love and romance fall into that because I like Happily Ever After. I have Happily Ever After and when I read or write I want that for my characters as well. Besides which I tend to fall into the erotic category, which makes it a little different from the everyday, not that mine isn’t but not everyday!
Okay I researched nothing for this one sorry. But I would love to hear your thoughts on absolutely anything I have talked about here or anything else you want to talk to me about. Stop by the blog or the website or follow me on Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/brigitsworld ) or Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/brigitsworld) and keep up on all that is new in a world where the Paranormal is Just Normal.

I am lucky that my PR manager Katie is taking overmy MY SPACE page for amonth to keep it updated because I am not doing a thing there. Not sure if it is even worth it.

Steamy cover. It says ‘come and get me’. Thanks for sharing the info on your book. But your personal touches about your family were nice. Makes you seem real, not like a cyber robot. LOL.
Loved the book cover, Brigit. The interview was great.
