Valentine’s Day is here and that means stores are going nuts with cards, candy and flowers. I love Valentine’s Day because I can really do something special for my honey, be it dinner at home or some homemade cookies. We try to do a romantic dinner for two at home and maybe something out and about. This year with honey recovering from a broken leg, we are not doing much. I know tonight he is making a special dinner and tomorrow is up in the air. Do I show my love other times of the year? Sure I do but Valentine’s Day is special and romantic though I don’t dare go out to dinner when service is busy and crowded on this day.
With the economy going to pot and people tightening their beltsd, now is the perfect itme to bring out your creative juices with homemade valentine cards, candy and other goodies. Be original and hey, you never know..they might love this more than anything since you put so much thought into it.
