Tell us about your upcoming release and what you hope readers will enjoy about it.
My latest release is Seventh Circle, the next novel in the Vampires Realm series. The series stories aren’t tied together by plot, rather they are tied together by the world they were written in, so they can be read in any order. Seventh Circle is the story of Lincoln, a powerful vampire with a serious problem. He’s caught up in a contract between his Lord and the Devil, and will die if it comes to pass. His fate has been foretold by three witches, who told him of the woman who will save him. The problem? She works for Section Seven, an elite organisation of vampire hunters. Lilith has powers that she doesn’t like to think about, ones terribly close to a vampire’s. Having sword to eradicate all demons, the last thing she needs is a client who just happens to be one, and who she happens to find fiercely attractive. As they work together, they fight their growing feelings, but in the end it becomes too much for them both. In the end, Lilith has to come to terms with her feelings and decide just how far she’ll go to save Lincoln and the world.
I’m hoping readers will really enjoy this new foray into the world of the seven pure bloodlines, and the introduction of new characters, and the vampire hunters. While the plotline is just as twisting and dark as the Prophecy Trilogy, the romance is even more forbidden. It’s guaranteed to get your heart beating that bit faster.
If you could have one special super or magical power, what would it be?
Immortality, I guess, as long as I can make others immortal with me. I’d love to live forever, just as my vampires do. It would be an incredible gift.
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I mostly watch TV (anime, films, etc) when I’m not writing, or I read manga or even draw. I don’t tend to read too much these days because I’m usually writing instead. Of course, I work a full time job so if you’re talking about what I do when I’m not doing that, well, that would be writing. Lol. Writing is an obsession to me. If I don’t get my time, my fix, I get real cranky.
Bad boy/girl or perfect gentleman/woman to write about?
Can’t I have both? I have a character in my Vampires Realm series called Valentine. He’s the perfect vampire gentleman, but still the bad boy because of his deadly nature. I do tend to go for bad boys though. The more dangerous the better. I love a nice girl, or at least, a strong woman to write about as the heroine. She’s got to be someone who can stand up to her man and put him in his place when needs be.
If you could visit any time and place, where and when would it be and why?
I think I’d like to hop back to the Georgian period to take part in one of those balls and to dance with all the handsome men. Or perhaps jump forwards and see what the future is going to be like.
If you could be a shapeshifter, what form would you take and why?
A black panther. I wrote a story about a black panther shape-shifter and he was sexy as Hell. I want to be one too. Perhaps then he’d come purring my way.
Where are you published? Where can readers reach you?
I’m with Alinar Publishing right now, and I’m also pursuing agents next year in some vague attempt to be published with one of the big traditional publishing houses. Readers are always welcome at my websites – http://www.felicityheaton.co.uk and http://www.vampiresrealm.com – or can reach me at my blogs – http://felicityheaton.blogspot.com and http://www.myspace.com/felicityheaton
What else would you like readers to know about you or your work?
I’d like them to know that I write stories from the heart, romance that will take their breath away and make them trip head over heels in love with the hero, and of course want to be the heroine. My novels are full of twists and turns. If you like your vampires dead sexy and dangerous, come take a look at my boys!
Sneak look into Seventh Circle:
Lincoln trailed his fingers across his bare chest.
“I know you want to feel it.” His senses locked onto Lilith’s heart, revelling in the staccato rhythm it had adopted. A rush of adrenaline entered her blood, sending the scent of it into the air through her overheating flesh. She was either embarrassed, or his words held some truth and she wanted to touch him. Another push. “Just reach out and touch. I can see the questions in your eyes, Lilith. Is it cool, hard? Would you feel a heartbeat? Would I feel your touch, feel pain if you scraped your nails down it… feel pleasure?”
Her cheeks blazed and her eyes widened. She went to turn away. He was beside her before she could move, his hand tight around her wrist. He couldn’t let her get away when it was just getting interesting.
Taking the mug from her other hand, he placed it down on the counter away from them, his movements slow so he didn’t draw her attention away from his eyes. He drew her towards him. Her fingers shook in his. Her breath trembled uneasily, quivering with her racing heart. Her dark gaze fell to his chest and she slowly wet her lips with the bare tip of her soft pink tongue. He stared at her mouth, mesmerised by the motion of her tongue against her lips, and then snapped himself out of it.
This game was turning dangerous for them both. It didn’t matter. He couldn’t stop now.
He had to see what would happen.
“Surrender to it,” he whispered, voice smooth and convincing.
Her fingertips barely grazed his skin and he was on fire. His eyes half closed as he absorbed the sensation of her warm caress heating his body. He hadn’t expected this. He clawed back a modicum of control, telling himself this was just a game to annoy her, to make her feel weak. It shouldn’t make him feel this way.
Her eyes were wide, her pupils dilated as she stared at her fingers where they traced patterns on his chest. She was lost. He could smell the hint of arousal, the alluring pheromones coming off her.
He breathed in a voice of temptation, “Imagine what it is like to kiss me.”
Her gaze burned him, trailing fire over his body as it rose to his mouth. He stared at hers, imagining the silky glide of her lips against his and the brush of her tongue, the warmth of her.
“Imagine what it is like to be kissed by me.” He smiled to reveal his extended fangs.

Hi there Felicity,
Thanks for being in the spotlight and I enjoyed this immensley. I look forward to reading the full book soon.
It is in my que ready to be devoured. Is there more Vampire Realm stories coming in the future?
Raine D.
Hi Raine!
Thanks for having me.
Yes, there’s very many more Vampires Realm stories to come. What about Mia and Dmitri’s story? What’s the deal with Hyperion? Tynan needs someone to love… oh, and there was a little mention in the Prophecy Trilogy about a Validus commander en route to Dmitri’s bastion with a newly turned female werewolf… which just happens to be my next Vampires Realm novel, Winter’s Kiss. Keep your eyes peeled early next year for it!
