Latest release is Boy Toy, the 2nd book in the Call Me series.  I hope the readers enjoy the humor and heat.

I spend time with my husband, children and grandchildren.  When we get the time and have the money, you’ll find my husband and I traveling.

In spring and summer, you’ll find me in the yard puttering.  I enjoy gardening and am a Certified Master Gardener.

Getting together at each other’s homes and eating, talking and playing with the kids.

Actually, I’ll be tackling a mainstream/women’s fiction project after the first of year that I’m excited about.  Life Changes will tell the story of how the life of  a woman who just turned fifty changes after the death of her husband and covers the relationships between her and her daughters.

Good heavens, I have no idea at this point.  I’ve been told I remind people of Mary Tyler Moore, though I’m not that old and Carol Burnett (not that old either).

It can be either.  If the story idea comes first, I develop the character from there.  If the character is first, then I ask what if… to come up with the plot.  A lot of times the idea comes to me as a package.

God, I need a facelift!

Let’s see, today…milk, lots of yogurt which we need to eat up before leaving on a trip on the 19th, apples, salad makings, sandwich makings (mostly turkey) and cheese.  Tomorrow there will be leftover soup added to the list.

Finn from Boy Toy…great bartender

Johnny Depp…to find out how much of Captain Jack there really is in him

George Clooney….that’s for  me to know (grin)

Sneak look into Boy Toy by Lizzie T. Leaf:

“You ever hear of adult entertainment?” A big grin spread across Dulcie’s generous lips.

The phone rang before Scarlett could reply.

“Excuse me, sugar. I gotta get this since I’m short-handed.” Dulcie reached for the phone. “Call Me Agency, how can I make your dreams come true?”

Scarlett had never heard anyone answer a phone in this manner. She watched as Dulcie listened to the caller and made notes for a couple of minutes before she replied.

“Of course, sugar, we got just the girl who can do that for you. Let’s get the nasty payment business out of the way, and then we can get you on the road to pleasure.”

Fascinated Scarlett waited as Dulcie pulled a credit card form out of the top drawer of her desk and begin to fill in information.

“How many minutes do you want me to set you up for, sugar? My, my. We do plan to talk awhile, don’t we?” She punched numbers into a credit card machine as she chatted. “Okay, sugar, you’re all approved. Let me get you set with one of our loveliest girls. Hang on and the next voice you hear will be hers.”

Scarlett listened mystified, unsure what type of transaction this conversation covered. Dulcie punched another phone line and entered numbers, winking at Scarlett while she waited.

“Be right with you in a minute. This won’t take long.”

“No problem.” Scarlett was in no hurry to get yet another rejection.

“Jill. How you doing, girlfriend?” Dulcie laughed at whatever was said in her ear. “Got a live one for you. He wants to talk to his mistress. Seems he’s been a bad boy and needs to be punished. From the amount he had me run on his credit card, he needs a lot of punishment.”

Punishment? Why on earth would someone call for punishment? Scarlett puzzled in her mind.
